On April 14, 2025, the Honorary Consul of Romania in Katowice, Professor Krzysztof Zamasz attended the gala celebrating the 30th anniversary of WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
Professor Zamasz has long been associated with WSB University as an Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Energy Transformation. During the jubilee celebration, he congratulated Her Magnificence Zdzisława Dacko-Pikiewicz on the years of collaboration and the overall achievements of WSB University, which has evolved over the years to become not only an outstanding academic institution but also a center for integrating science, business, and local government. Congratulations were also extended to President Professor Łukasz Sułkowski, Vice-Rector for Science and Education Associate Professor Katarzyna Szczepańska, Vice-Rector for Development and Director of the Center for Quality and Innovation dr. Sabina Ratajczak, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and External Relations Associate Professor Marcin Lis, and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation dr. Rafał Dębilas.
Among those celebrating this special occasion were the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Marek Gzik, Silesian Voivode Marek Wójcik, Member of the Silesian Voivodeship Board and Councilor of the Silesian Regional Assembly Rafał Adamczyk, Mayor of Katowice and Chairman of the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis Assembly Marcin Krupa, Mayor of Dąbrowa Górnicza Marcin Bazylak, and CEO of Veolia Group in Poland, Luiz Hanania.
The ceremony was accompanied by a concert featuring Piotr Rubik and the Lower Silesian Symphony Orchestra of the Jelenia Góra Philharmonic.
