On November 18, 2024, I had the opportunity to attend the official opening of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Katowice.
Marcin Mistarz assumed the role of Honorary Consul, emphasizing that the consulate’s activities will facilitate enhanced cooperation between Poland and Mongolia in cultural, scientific, tourism, and business sectors.
One of the initial projects to be undertaken by the consulate is a collaboration between the Central Mining Institute and a corresponding institution in Mongolia. The consulate’s jurisdiction will encompass the Silesian, Lower Silesian, and Opole voivodeships.
This is a significant milestone for the development of the region. I extend my congratulations and look forward to further cooperation between our institutions.
