On October 15, 2025, the Honorary Consul of Romania, Professor Krzysztof Zamasz, participated in the Plenary Session of the Social Dialogue Council with the participation of the President of the Republic of Poland. The subject of the proceedings, held at the Presidential Palace, was “The Energy Transformation of the State and the Social Security of Citizens and the Competitiveness of the Polish Economy”.
Matters discussed included the dependence of social welfare on stable pillars of the state system, the strengthening of the role of the Polish economy and its competitiveness on the world stage, the maintenance of national security in the face of diplomatic perturbations and military threats, and the development of a sustainable economy and social prosperity.
The session brought together senior representatives of employees, employers and the government. Those present included, inter alia, representatives of the Polish Employers’ Association and the National Commission of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union “Solidarity”.
