On November 20, 2025, the 12th International Business Meeting ‘Business Without Borders’ took place, organized by Europa House, the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE), and the Veolia Group.
The Honorary Consul of Romania in Katowice, Professor Krzysztof Zamasz, delivered a speech on the role of international cooperation in building business relations within the region. He paid particular attention to the improvement of all areas of the ‘golden triangle’ and the necessity of refining current cooperation models.
The ‘Leader of International Integration’ statuette was awarded to: Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Romania in Poland Stefan Porojan, President of the Management Board of the Upper Silesian Fund Mateusz Rykała, and Chairwoman of the Municipal Council in Ogrodzieniec Małgorzata Janoska. Special recognition was also given to: Commander of ORP ‘Wodniki’ Lieutenant Commander Adrian Rusek, tourism manager and activist associated with Bogács Adam Hajdu, President of the Management Board of Jemyeko.pl Foundation Anna Pawelec, President of the Management Board of PIXEL WAVE Marcin Stefański, owners of Osteria Le Botii restaurant Kinga and Federico Gonfia, as well as President of the Europa House Foundation Patryk Szczygieł.
